We have now had our Broseley Fires Safety Cold Water System approved for use in the UK and this exciting new technology is available now!

What is the Safety Cold Water System?

The Safety Cold Water System has been developed to run a woodburning boiler stove on a sealed heating system. We have developed a sealed heating system boiler due to the increasing trend in Europe and the UK for sealed heating systems. A sealed heating system boiler facilitates the integration of solid fuel boilers into the house existing heating system without the need for any means of incorporating a vented boiler into an unvented system and the associated pipe work and controls

Training

We are running a training scheme for approved installers of the Broseley Fires SCWS. If you interested in having one of these appliances please contact us for details of your local SCWS installers.

Applications

The ‘SCWS’ boiler is ideal for linking up multiple boilers or heat sources either through a thermal store or low loss header. Many of our recent applications have used the woodburning stove as a top up for solar heating and ground source heat pumps all linked through a thermal store.
